If you live in a damp, humid climate, or plan to leave the poles up year-round in an area that receives a lot of snow,
I advise having your poles treated for protection against mildew and rot. This will ultimately prolong the life of the
canvas as well, since mildew on the poles will transfer over to the canvas where ever it contacts the pole surface. Even
though the SUNFORGER has been treated to resist mildew, I've seen this occur many times with tipis after they are a
couple of years old. We can treat your poles using BIO-WASH Natural Deck Oil, a non-toxic formula. This also helps
retain the original golden color of the freshly cured poles. Without it, they will weather to a pale grey, due to the sun's
ultra-violet rays. You can also order the BIO-WASH and do this easily yourself.
INQUIRE for current pricing on treated poles.

For beautiful artwork on the cover, door, liner, or floorcloth, please Contact Debra
to discuss your ideas and explore various designs.
My hand-painted artwork is adapted from authentic designs, using traditional symbols and colors.
Along with my personal visions, I also integrate custom designs created by customers. In order to offer a more Earth-friendly
alternative to standard acrylic paint, my primary medium is SAFE-COAT, a water-based exterior enamel that is entirely non-toxic
yet resists environmental wear and tear.
