WELCOME TO PINE PRODUCTIONS

Pine Productions is a hobby. A hobby by definition enriches your life as it drains your wallet. As we rarely accept money for any project and everything costs, it is difficult to make it up with volume. It may be a tough road but it sure beats working.

Pine Productions is made up of two characters. Harvey the leader and creator, Anita the follower and chief cook and bottle washer.

In the 1960s we were a black and white photo lab. In the 1970s color slide shows were the specialty. In the 1980s we made super 8 movies. By the 1990s super 8 was obsolete and our main product was  VHS friendship tapes. Some of the movies were placed on VHS. Since the turn of the century, Pine Productions has become a publishing organization for the creative writing talents of Harvey.

“LANDA” the most RED book,  readily available at most garage sales, was published to give Harvey the title of “published author”. The novel utilizes the collection of expressions. Example “ Book are priceless if read and worthless if not.” “The chances of being read are inversely proportional to length.” The book is not sold for money but marketed by BARTER. Our “labor of love museum contains woodworks, knitted items, paintings, other self published books, music and various crafts. Always room for one more. The only rule is that the item should be made by you and is not illegal, immoral or fattening. (No food). If you have a craft hobby, make an offer and you will receive a book.

There is a long list of articles, stories and essays written by Harvey. Many have been published in journals and magazines. Some are available on request.

A major project is writing plays. The play “FRANKIE’S THURSDAY NIGHT” was taken from “LANDA”  and has been read on tape. “LOVE GONE WRONG” is the current play. The theme is anti war and treating Gays with dignity. The story was entered in the 2007 Idaho Writers League contest. The play has been read on tape and then mass produced on CD. It is available on request. Still looking for a group to stage it and grants from Pine Productions may be available to make this happen. The play in the works “HELL FROZE OVER” is a romantic comedy dealing spiritual faith.

Pine Productions play “Perfect Religion was read at the Gardenia Center. There was enough positive feedback to encourage producing the other plays.
